Anti-freeze system
For particularly cold water it is recommended to use a first stage equipped with an anti-freeze system.
In actual fact, if the regulator is used in low temperature conditions, an anti-freeze system is used which completely isolates the spring and the diaphragm from contact with the water.
The anti-freeze dry first stage produced by us is ideal for use in extreme conditions. This feature, in addition to being used for cold water, is ideal for diving in murky waters that call for the slime or pollution to be kept out of the main spring chamber, for example in archaeological or caving work.
In the following photo it is possible to see the result of the freezing suffered by a 1st stage during a cyclical test in a climatic chamber.
